123 HP Printer Common Firewall Problems

The Fax quality promised by every HP Printer model is High definition. Sometimes there might be change in the quality while faxing – either while receiving or while sending. This can be solved to an extent by cleaning your HP All-in-one printer.

To clean the scanner component, make sure you have the following:

  • A clean, lint-free cloth, or any cloth that does not come apart or leave fibers
  • Glass cleaner
  • Distilled, filtered, or bottled water (tap water might damage the printer)

Once you have gathered the above components, turn off your printer and disconnect the power cord.

  • Lift the scanner lid.
  • Spray a soft or lint free cloth with glass cleaner and wipe the scanner glass.
  • Close the scanner lid and open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
  • Separate the pad inside the paper pick rollers.
  • Damp a lint free cloth in distilled water and use the cloth to wipe the dust from the rollers.
  • Leave the ADF cover open for few minutes to dry.
  • Once dry, close the lid and reconnect the power cord to the printer and try to fax any document and check for the quality.

  • Open services by searching for ‘Services’.
  • Scroll through the list and find ‘Print Spooler’
